Donald Trump may have raised more than $13 million following his first presidential debate on Monday night against Hillary Clinton.
In a tweet posted Tuesday afternoon, the Republican presidential nominee claimed his campaign raised a significant chunk of cash through online donations immediately after the debate concluded.
In the last 24 hrs. we have raised over $13M from online donations and National Call Day, and we’re still going! Thank you America! #MAGA

Trump has smashed small-dollar fundraising records set by previous GOP presidential nominees by raising as much as $100 million since June through contributions of $200 or less. Last month, Trump reported a total take of $90 million through online donations to his campaign and joint fundraising committees set up by Republican party officials.
The billionaire’s son, Don Jr., penned a fundraising email on Tuesday, promising his father would match up to $2 million in donations to his campaign between now and Friday’s financial disclosure deadline.
According to the Nielsen ratings, Monday’s debate between Trump and Clinton averaged a total of 81.4 million viewers across 11 major television channels, making it the most-watched debate in U.S. history.
The Clinton campaign has yet to release any figures regarding the former secretary of state’s own post-debate fundraising haul.
