Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani on Thursday dismissed Hillary Clinton’s supposed support for women by arguing that her husband, former President Bill Clinton, was a “predator president.”
“The Democrats love to attack us for a war on women,” Giuliani told breakfast meeting of the New York delegation to the GOP convention in Cleveland. “You know, over the last 20 years, the biggest war on women has been conducted by Bill Clinton.”
“Bill Clinton, our predator president, with his wife who enabled him, aided him, covered up for him, and headed the bimbo squad,” he added to applause.
Giuliani claimed the power couple were equal participants in a campaign to silence those who claimed Bill Clinton was less than faithful to his wife. “They had all these women,” he said. “They had to go scare them to keep their mouths shut. Hillary knew all about that.”
“Do you think I’m stupid, Hillary?” he asked. “You think I believe that you care about the rights of women when you cover up the sexually predatory actions of your husband that would get any executive in America fired in two seconds and we put some of them in jail?”
Giuliani said the first female presidential candidate for a major political party doesn’t really care about women. “All you care about is power, Clinton power,” he charged.
