Watch out Hillary: Jill Stein breaks fundraising record

Bernie Sanders’ revolution may have ended, but Jill Stein’s is only beginning. An army of supporters are donating millions and setting record fundraising numbers for the Green Party candidate.

On Sunday, Stein tweeted that she raised $1 million in just 10 days.

That’s more than she raised during her entire 2012 bid for the White House; Stein raised just $894,000 during her entire 2012 campaign, according to Open Secrets.

As of June 30, Stein reportedly raked in more than $850,000 and is expected to surpass $2 million in total funds raised by the end of July. By comparison, the 2008 Green Party candidate Cynthia McKinney raised less than $200,000.

If Stein can continue raising more than $1 million a month and appeal to disenfranchised Democrats who supported Sanders, she’ll gain the highest results of any Green Party candidate in history — a fact that should keep Hillary Clinton up at night.
