If an ice age killed the dinosaurs, then maybe global warming could bring them back? That’s just one possible harebrained theory that might explain a recent tweet from one Congressman.
Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) was doing some serious thinking about dinosaurs late Friday night while watching ‘Jurassic Park 3-D.’
He tweeted his musings about when the extinct creatures would return, apparently of the opinion that Wooly Mammoths would be sighted again within the next decade.
About to watch Jurassic Park 3-D;how long until dinos roam earth again? Wooly Mammoths within decade prolly but longer 4 dinos if at all

The Congressman’s tweet was likely a little tongue-in-cheek, but since he hasn’t tweeted against since, it’s hard to tell. Maybe someone should tell Polis that the ‘Jurassic Park‘ movies aren’t real life and once a species goes extinct, it doesn’t come back.
