Kellyanne Conway, top adviser to former President Donald Trump, announced Thursday she’s delivering her perspective on the tumultuous administration in a new memoir coming in May.
Publisher Simon & Schuster said the book, Here’s the Deal, will reveal Conway’s life experience that led her to the 2016 election, during which she became the first woman to manage a winning presidential campaign, and continue through her time in the White House as Trump’s senior counselor until her departure in August 2020.
The publisher billed the memoir as a “behind-the-scenes look at the workings of the historic 2016 Trump-Pence campaign, and the Trump Administration: details about strategy and decision-making, power struggles, family dynamics, and a one-of-a-kind perspective about Donald Trump.”

Conway’s personal life will also be explored within its pages, with revelations about the “family dynamics” that plagued Conway’s last few months in the administration. Her husband, George Conway III, was a vocal Trump critic who founded the anti-Trump super PAC the Lincoln Project, while their teenage daughter Claudia blasted both her parents to her large TikTok following.
“Long before I joined the Trump campaign and White House, I’d made a career out of calling things as I saw them, with no notes in front of me and no net beneath me,” Conway said in a statement. “I brought that same approach to this book, which should engage, engross and entertain plenty of people.”
