Shamu gets a lobbyist

SeaWorld has entered the influence game, setting up its own lobbying shop in downtown D.C.

According to a lobbying registration filed last Friday former Anheuser Busch lobbyist Barbara Heffernan and former Hill Staffer James Galbraith will make up SeaWorld’s in-house lobby shop. The pair plan to lobby for tourism subsidies, and on H.R. 2514, the “Amusement Park Ride Safety Act.”
