Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH) has held on to her party’s nomination in spite of stiff competition from a more liberal candidate, Nina Turner, in Ohio’s 11th Congressional District.

Brown maintained the narrow lead she first established when the two went head to head last year in a special election in the Cleveland district. With 44% reporting, Brown was leading with nearly 64% of the vote. In 2021, Brown won with 50.2%, while Turner received 44%.
