Attorney General Jeff Sessions told former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon that if he were to get fired, he’d really “never leave” the position.
The comment came during a conversation between the two came on July 25 — a day after President Trump called Sessions “beleaguered” on Twitter — Bannon told Vanity Fair in a wide-ranging interview.
