The “online spat” between Russell Brand and Sean Hannity continued over the weekend, with yet another Youtube post from the actor.
Titled, “Israel/Palestine, Russell Brand/Sean Hannity: Round 2,” Brand responded to Hannity’s offer from last week to “educate him.”
The actor literally plays Hannity’s segment on “Hollywood and Hamas” bit by bit while adding his own commentary to each each line Hannity said.
Brand called Hannity “mean-spirited” for bringing up his failed marriage to Katy Perry. Then he went on to say that Hannity couldn’t be mad about Brand’s comparison of the TV host to the Ken doll from “Toy Story 3” because he had fact-checked that and it was true.
In a 13-minute response, Brand made sure to tell Hannity he had an “idiot” living in his head, but then asked the Fox News host to start playing nice.
“Sean, you’re a human being. Come back to humanity. You’ve lost yourself, mate,” Brand said. “Tonight when you go home, look in the mirror for a little while, take a deep breath, remember how you were as a child, remember how you feel about the people you love, remember that all human beings everywhere, they have those sensations and those feelings, try and speak from a perspective of love not from vengeance and hatred.”
