No bankers’ hours for Kiefer Sutherland: He and the cast and crew of “24” were filming all weekend in the nation’s capital.

A source tells us Sutherland’s ubiquitous chess set was right there in front of his chair, which was conveniently marked “Kiefer” on one side and “Jack” on the other.
Meanwhile, the crew grabbed a few establishing shots from the C Street portico at the Daughters of the American Revolution building. “It looks so much like the White House or an old Washington building” that it’s very popular with film crews, said a spokeswoman. She said “24” used the same location scouts as “The West Wing,” which filmed there about nine times.
Later this week, look for Carlos Bernard, who plays Tony Almeida, and producer-director Jon Cassar. Word has it that Almeida returns from the dead next season.
On Saturday, the crew filmed a scene in a house on N Street in Georgetown.
