It is opening day and there is no doubt that area radio stations are set for tonight’s kickoff against the Cowboys at 8pm.
ESPN 980AM the Home of the Redskins gets things underway at 4pm with the voice of the Redskins Larry Michael who will set the stage the Redskins Playbook.
Then at 5pm Kevin Sheehan anchors one of the best pregame shows in the entire NFL. The Tailgate Show has long been a comprehensive and entertaining program that includes a cast of thousands but packs a great deal of super content in the three hours of airtime.
ESPN 980AM has the game at 8pm with Larry Michael doing the play by play, Hall of Famers Sonny Jurgensen and Sam Huff will be in the booth. The sideline reporter will be the popular Rick Doc Walker in his second year on the Redskins Broadcast team.
Al Galdi will have the postgame on ESPN 980AM after the game.
106.7FM The Fan will offer the Redskins Pregame Uncensored starting at 5pm with the duo of Bill Rohland and Brian Mitchell along with an impressive group of contributors. Then at 7pm The Sports Junkies will close things out for the final hour of the program.
After the broadcast the postgame show will be anchored Kevin and the Rock taking calls.
