In an attempt to defend the President Trump’s “big, beautiful wall” Patriotic Express accused Joe Kennedy of the gravest of sins: hypocrisy.
After Trump’s recent State of the Union address, Joe Kennedy opined his disdain for the president. During his speech, Kennedy referenced a sign that anti-Trump protesters held up stating “Build a wall and my generation will tear it down.” This ruffled the feathers of Patriotic Express:
First things first, the Palm Beach “estate” referred to by the Patriotic Express hasn’t been owned by the Kennedys since 1995, when it was sold to New York banker John Castle. It was sold again in 2015.
Lastly, the article neglects to mention that the “wall” is, in fact, a seawall—which blocks the estate from the ocean. The Patriotic Express asked if “perhaps they wanted the ‘illegals’ off their property.” It seems more likely that the decision was made by engineers who had more practical concerns.
Patriot Express posed the supposedly rhetorical question, “Can you get any more hypocritical?” What they should have asked was, “Can you get any more gullible?”
