“Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski was a big fan of Gov. Mike Pence’s performance during an interview on her show Thursday morning, according to her private notes that Joe Scarborough read on the air.
“I am stunned, Mika writes, by how good he is,” Scarborough said she wrote of Pence.
Pence is widely considered to have won this week’s vice presidential debate, and Trump has increasingly relied on Pence to communicate their campaign’s message to the public.
Brzezinski, who has indicated she will vote for Hillary Clinton, clarified that her notes reflect how well Pence performed, and shouldn’t be seen as support for his conservative views. “Okay you don’t have to do all the qualifiers, left-winger,” said Scarborough to Brzezinski.
