An illegal immigrant has been hospitalized following a nonfatal shooting involving ICE officers in New York City, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
In a statement, DHS said the wounded individual was an illegal immigrant from the Dominican Republic with a prior criminal conviction and ties to the Trinitarios gang.
