George Conway, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway’s husband, took a break from criticizing President Trump to make fun of the Democrats taking part in their presidential primary debate Wednesday evening.
“[S]o tonight’s circular firing squad marksmanship medal goes to … ?” Conway said in a tweet about an hour and a half into the CNN event.
so tonight’s circular firing squad marksmanship medal goes to … ?

Conway also retweeted other people who criticized the candidates for distancing themselves from former President Barack Obama, including MSNBC host Joe Scarborough.
You know you have extreme ideologues running for president when @BarackObama is a punching bag for being too conservative. FWIW, President Obama is the only Democrat to twice win a majority of the vote since FDR (and is still hugely popular in the Democratic Party.) Not. Smart.

The event on Wednesday was the second half of CNN’s 2020 Democratic debate, featuring heavy hitters, including front-runner Joe Biden, who was Obama’s vice president, and Sen. Kamala Harris.
Conway, a conservative lawyer, has made headlines over the past year for attacking Trump on Twitter, including questioning the mental stability of his wife’s boss.
