We’ve told you before about Rookery, the new private, fraternally oriented club for 30-somethings by Bo Blair, the proprietor of Smith Point, Georgetown’s exclusive bar for connected 20-somethings. We recently obtained a copy of the rules and conditions for membership, as sent out by club brass.

Among the more interesting bylaws:

» Monthly membership dues are $95 per month but can be applied to food and drink on Sunday or Tuesday nights (when it’s slower).

» Members may submit the name of one girl “to be placed on the girl’s members list that will be automatically added. This should be used for your girlfriend. You may take this girl’s name off the list at any time.” She should be at least 25.

» Members may put two male guests on the list for Fridays and Saturdays, but “up to four female guests.”

» “You may also submit names of couples for our married members list. [Married members’ access] will be very limited on Friday and Saturday nights.”

So far, more than 100 people have joined.
