Jennifer Aniston told Vogue that she’s on good terms with ex-husband Brad Pitt. But since he read the article, that may no longer be the case. According to a Chicago Sun-Times source, the actor was so irked by his former wife calling his baby-mama Angelina Jolie “uncool” in print that he called her to complain.
Considering Jennifer was referring to Angelina’s own Vogue interview — in which she gushed about falling in love with Brad while he was still married to an unsuspecting Jen — we tend to think she has a point. But apparently Brangelina didn’t see it that way.
An Angie insider told the paper that the couple were “totally thrown’’ by the piece, having believed that the former “Friends” star had “moved on … and wouldn’t want to reopen this old wound.’’ (Well, it’s kinda hard to move on when your ex and his new family are on the cover of every magazine.)
Jen’s rep wouldn’t disclose whether the “Fight Club” star actually did get in touch with his former wife, saying, “That’s personal information. … That really is no one’s business.”
If Brad really did give Jen a piece of his mind, she’s unrepentant: Asked by pal Oprah about her remarks, Jennifer responded simply that the reporter had asked a question and “I basically just answered it as honestly as I could.” So there.
Daddy’s girl?
Kendra Wilkinson’s new fiancé, Hank Baskett, isn’t weirded out by the fact that her ex-boyfriend is octogenarian Hugh Hefner. In fact, the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver says, he sought out the Playboy mogul’s blessing before proposing.
“Hef is like a father to her so he’s going to be the one to give her away,” Hank told a Philly TV station. (The couple plans to wed at the Playboy mansion in June.) “That’s why I wanted his blessing and her mom’s blessing.”
OK, it was weird enough when Hef was dating Kendra and two other buxom blondes. But to hear that she thinks of him as a father That is just a whole world of creepy.
J.Lo: More kids?
She ran a triathlon mere months after giving birth to twins — so what’s the next hurdle for Jennifer Lopez to conquer? Getting pregnant again, according to In Touch. The tabloid says the singer-actress-designer-mom and hubby Marc Anthony want a sibling for Max and Emme, born in February. And since she’s 39, they’re not wasting any time.
“They were advised to wait six months after she gave birth. They listened to their doctor’s advice, but now they’re trying to make one more baby,” an insider allegedly told the tabloid.
“Jennifer can’t believe how much she loves motherhood,” adds the source. “Of course, she always knew she wanted to be a mom one day, but she wasn’t quite prepared for the overwhelming joy these children have given her or how it’s really cemented her relationship with Marc. She would love a full house!”
We appreciate the early heads-up on the bump watch. After all, if J.Lo really does get pregnant again, you know she won’t announce it until she’s, like, eight months along.
Swift transition
We already knew that Joe Jonas dumped Taylor Swift over the phone — but it gets worse. The country cutie has revealed that the 19-year-old Jonas Brothers heartthrob left her for another girl, his current flame Camilla Belle.
“They’ve been together since we broke up,” Taylor informed reporters at Wednesday night’s Country Music Awards. “That’s why we broke up — because he met her.” (Guess staying pure doesn’t mean you can’t be a cad.)
Joe met the actress on the set of his band’s new video, “Lovebug,” but an inside source insists to OK! that they didn’t start dating until filming wrapped. (How long do video shoots take…two, maybe three days?)
Refreshingly — and understandably — Taylor doesn’t try to pretend she and her ex stayed friends: “We don’t talk,” she sniffed.
Cheer up, honey. It’s probably only a matter of time before Joe dumps Camilla … most likely via text message.
