Police in Washington, D.C., clashed with anti-Trump protesters Thursday night outside the National Press Club where supporters of the president-elect celebrated on the eve of his inauguration.
Police deployed mace and teargas, according to one person at the scene. A reporter for NBC’s Washington affiliate said protestors set off “smoke devices.”

Videos showed hundreds of protesters outside the event Trump supporters called DeploraBall.
