Two bank robberies in less than a week have Fairfax County police searching for suspects.
Women rarely rob banks, but on Friday, police say a woman in her mid-20s entered an Apple Federal Credit Union at 14620 Centreville Square in Centreville. She handed a 24-year-old female teller a note implying she had a weapon and demanding cash. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the robber ran out of the bank. No one was injured.
