MS-13 has taken over El Salvador and now it’s everywhere in the US

The full extent of how stupid our policy is on illegal aliens crossing into the country can be found on the front page Monday of the Washington Post.

I’m not sure the paper meant to make that point. But the story headlined “Fearing MS-13, police officers flee El Salvador” did it well enough.

From the article:

“With salaries of $300 to $400 per month, the low-level police officers who make up the majority of the force often have no choice but to live in neighborhoods vulnerable to gangs. And so, in the vast majority of the cases, police officers are killed when they are home from work or are on leave.”

This is the culture, and these are the people dumped into the U.S. by way of our current open border policy.

Border agents in the Rio Grande Valley sector of Texas, where there are more illegal alien apprehensions than anywhere else, send out regular notice that MS-13 gang members are coming into the U.S.

In just this month:

  • Feb. 28: “Rio Grande City agents working near Roma, Texas, arrested a Salvadoran man after he entered the United States illegally. Record checks revealed he is a Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang member with an extensive criminal history in the state of New York…”
  • Feb. 26: “Rio Grande Valley Sector agents arrested a Mexican man near Edinburg, Texas. Record checks revealed the man is a member of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang.”
  • Feb. 22: “[A]gents patrolling the local ranchlands near Sarita, Texas, arrested eight illegal aliens. During processing, agents noticed one of the subjects displayed several tattoos affiliated with the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang.”
  • Feb. 19: “Rio Grande Valley agents arrested an MS-13 and a Sureño gang member in separate incidents.”
  • Feb. 14: “Weslaco agents working in Hidalgo, Texas, apprehended a Salvadoran man after he entered the United States illegally. During processing, record checks revealed the man is a member of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang.”
  • Feb. 11: “[A]gents from the Rio Grande City station, arrested five illegal aliens. While being processed, record checks for a Salvadoran man revealed he is a MS-13 gang member…”
  • Feb. 7: “[A]gents working near Progreso, Texas, arrested 16 illegal aliens after making their illegal entry into the United States. Record checks for a Honduran male revealed he is a member of the MS-13 gang with criminal history…”

This is in addition to the child molesters, drug dealers, and human traffickers frequently caught by agents at the border — and more importantly the ones not being caught because agents are tied up acting as babysitters instead of border enforcers. We’ll never know how many violent MS-13 criminals disappeared into the U.S. where they will go on to infest and ravage American schools and neighborhoods.

The Washington Post reported in June last year on MS-13’s stronghold of a Maryland middle school. “Gang-related fights are now a near-daily occurrence at Wirt, where a small group of suspected MS-13 members at the overwhelmingly Hispanic school in Prince George’s County throw gang signs, sell drugs, draw gang graffiti and aggressively recruit students recently arrived from Central America,” the report said.

The paper reported in December 2017, “As the gang has grown in strength in recent years, so has its sway over communities across the country. From Boston to Northern Virginia to Houston, a string of grisly MS-13 murders has highlighted its resurgence …”

President Trump and Republicans have failed in stopping the chaos, and it’s taken for granted that Democrats believe it’s acceptable.

Salvadoran police are fleeing here in terror from MS-13. If they thought they’d be safe here, they’re in for a surprise.
