PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (AP) — A 32-year-old northern New York man who served prison time for driving drunk and hitting and killing a 20-year-old jogger is back behind bars.

Steven Baker of West Chazy pleaded guilty last month in Clinton County Court to third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance and was sentenced to seven years in prison and three years of post-release supervision. He’s serving the sentence at Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill and is scheduled for release in 2020.

Baker was convicted in 2008 of second-degree manslaughter, second-degree vehicular manslaughter, and two counts of driving while intoxicated in the death of Albert Montanaro III of Keeseville in January 2006.
