The Redskins could be losing their tight ends coach to Colorado University.

According to a report in the Denver Post, Colorado offered Jon Embree its head coaching position. The Buffaloes fired coach Dan Hawkins during this past season. Embree coached at Colorado from 1991-2002, starting as a volunteer assistant and also coaching tight ends, defensive ends and receivers.

Embree is in his first season with Washington. He coached tight ends at Kansas City the previous three seasons. He also coached at UCLA from 2003-2005, serving as an assistant head coach during his tenure.
