Hillary Clinton on health scare: I feel better

Hillary Clinton responded Monday to questions surrounding her health scare this weekend, when she was recorded collapsing outside a 9/11 memorial event in New York City, and said in a series of notes on social media that she feels much better.

“Thanks to everyone who’s reached out with well wishes! I’m feeling fine and getting better,” she said on Twitter.

“Like anyone who’s ever been home sick from work, I’m just anxious to get back out there. See you on the trail soon,” the Democratic nominee said.

Clinton appeared to faint this weekend after she made a hasty exit from a 9/11 memorial service in New York City. The Democratic nominee was recorded outside the event Sunday afternoon collapsing as her aides helped her get into a van.

Clinton’s campaign revealed after the incident that she was diagnosed last week with pneumonia. Her team only admitted this after it claimed first that Clinton had merely “overheated” at the memorial event. Her campaign also only admitted to her pneumonia diagnosis after she disappeared for 90 minutes Sunday, leaving the press totally in the dark as to her whereabouts.
