Migrants on Mexico-California border seen wearing shirts begging Biden to let them in

A group of migrants on the California border with Mexico were photographed wearing T-shirts supporting President Biden and imploring him to let them into the country.

“Biden, please let us in!” some of the shirts said, along with the president’s campaign logo, which migrants wore at the San Ysidro crossing port in Tijuana requesting asylum in the United States, according to Fox News.

At one point, migrants stood next to each other and took a knee as part of a demonstration urging the president to keep his campaign promise and increase the amount of immigration into the United States and ease former President Donald Trump’s law enforcement mechanisms.

The demonstration comes as Biden faces questions about a surge of border crossings since he took office, including a record 117,000 unaccompanied children expected at the border this year.

This week, Biden declined to describe the situation as a “crisis,” which is a word that has been used by many of his conservative critics.

“No, we’ll be able to handle it,” Biden told a reporter who asked him whether or not a crisis is developing at the border.

Biden has been criticized by his own party for his immigration policies, including recently after it was reported that unaccompanied child migrants are being housed in trailers similar to the “kids in cages” that Democrats railed against Trump for during his time in office.
