A person was killed in a house fire on the 10200 block of Old Indian Head Road in Upper Marlboro, according to Prince George’s County firefighters.
About 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, rescuers got a call that a person was trapped inside a burning home. Firefighters tried to enter the one-story home but were forced to retreat due to the heavy fire and unsafe conditions, fire officials said.
