A gun owner thwarted an armed robbery in Chicago this weekend after opening fire on the would-be thief.
A 29-year-old with a concealed carry permit shot a suspected armed robber at least twice around 7 p.m. Saturday evening in a cellphone store. It’s unclear if the gun owner was a customer or employee of the store.
