A police officer was killed in a shooting in San Diego Thursday night, and another was seriously hurt, according to reports.
Police have one suspect in custody, but were searching for other possible suspects, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Police announced the death of the first officer early Friday, and said the second officer was still in surgery.

Other details of the shooting weren’t clear as of early Friday morning.
At about 7 a.m. EST, police announced the second officer was expected to live following surgery.
