Penn State landmarks vandalized with red paint and cryptic messages

Penn State University is conducting an investigation after multiple landmarks on its main campus were vandalized and covered with cryptic messages overnight Saturday.

The Nittany Lion Shrine’s ear was broken off, and the statue, as well as the Old Main building and the Hintz Family Alumni Center, were smeared with red paint in places, according to a statement from the university.
