1 killed in Corpus Christi hit-and-run

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — A 30-year-old Corpus Christi woman is being held on intoxicated manslaughter and intoxicated assault charges following a fatal hit-and-run incident.

Corpus Christi Police say Christine Griffin hit a 56-year-old man who was pushing a 57-year-old woman in a wheelchair around 9 p.m. Friday. Both were taken to a local hospital where the man died. The victims’ names were not released.
