GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (AP) — A Dallas-area man has been arrested following the hit-and-run death of one highway worker and injuries to another along a toll road.

Dallas County jail records show 24-year-old Francisco Castillo of Grand Prairie was being held Tuesday on charges of accident involving death and accident involving injury.

Bond was set at $200,000 for Castillo, who was arrested Monday afternoon at his home. Online jail records don’t list an attorney for Castillo in the case involving a wreck before dawn Monday on the President George Bush Turnpike in Grand Prairie.

Police believe Castillo was driving a car that crashed into a highway maintenance vehicle and a trailer. The accident killed 41-year-old Camerino Sixtos as he put down reflective markers. Another worker was slightly hurt.

The car driver and a passenger fled.
