WH orders flags flown half-staff in honor of Nice victims

President Obama has ordered U.S. flags be flown at half-staff for the next four days in honor of the victims of the Nice, France, terror attack Thursday night.

The presidential proclamation, released Friday, orders the flag to be flown half-staff at the White House and all government and military facilities, including embassies and consulates, until sunset on July 19.

A large white truck driven by 31-year-old Mohamed Bouhlel plowed through a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day in Nice on Thursday evening, killing 84 people and injuring more than 200 others. French President Francois Hollande has described the incident as a terrorist attack.

Obama called Hollande to offer him condolences on Friday.
