The Trump administration is planning to introduce new travel restrictions on a whole lot of Africans.

Citing “security concerns,” the president is expected to expand the scope of travel restrictions first issued by the administration in 2017. That means seven countries, including Nigeria, Tanzania, Sudan, and Eritrea, will see their access to business and visitor visas and diversity visa lottery eligibility considerably narrowed. But unless President Trump wants to tank the strong economy he’s helped build, he needs to put the brakes on this travel ban.
