2012 is continuing to be one for the record books. “The Hunger Games” passed the $400 million mark on Sunday, setting up the possibility for three films to top that mark this year, something that has never happened in Hollywood. Along with “Games,” “Marvel’s The Avengers” is also on pace to top the mark. The third film which is likely to top the mark is “The Dark Knight Rises” (“The Dark Knight” grossed $533 million, and the new film is being widely buzzed about). The last film is set to be released on July 20.
