A 21-year-old man has been shot at his home in Potomac, Montgomery County police said.
Around 11:45 p.m. Sunday, the victim answered the door at the residence in the 8500 block of Victory Lane in Potomac and was confronted by what police only described as a black male. During a struggle, the suspect shot the victim, Montgomery County police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Detectives believe that the victim was targeted and that the struggle continued into the home, said Montgomery County police spokeswoman Officer Rebecca Innocenti.
