Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney surpassed her own fundraising record by raising $2.05 million in the final quarter of 2021 as she faces a primary challenge by a Trump-backed Republican candidate.

Cheney, a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump, had raised $1.5 million, $1.9 million, and $1.7 million in each of the other quarters, respectively, bringing her total fundraising for the year to $7 million as she seeks reelection. Cheney ended the year with $4.72 million cash in hand, according to information shared with the Casper Star-Tribune.
