Both President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden will be participating in town hall events on Thursday.
The candidates were originally scheduled to appear in a debate on Thursday, but after the Commission on Presidential Debates decided that the event would take place virtually, with the candidates competing from separate locations, Trump said he would not participate. The debate was subsequently canceled. Both Biden’s appearance on ABC and Trump’s appearance on NBC will begin at 8 p.m. EDT.
