NEW YORK (AP) — Fire officials say two people suffered burns to their arms following “a transformer incident” on a pier along the Hudson River in New York City.

A FDNY spokesman says the accident happened at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday near the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

He says the two individuals got “some kind of shock” and were taken to a hospital.

A third person was being evaluated at the scene.

Con Edison says the incident involved electrical equipment that belongs to the Intrepid.

Con Ed adds that its workers are on the scene to assist if needed.

The museum didn’t immediately return a call requesting more information.
