At 79 years old, Joe Biden is in the most vulnerable age group for COVID. We should all hope he has a speedy recovery.
However, his diagnosis does discredit many, if not all, of the things Biden previously warned about COVID. The biggest revelation is that this was never a pandemic of the unvaccinated, as he claimed.
Biden received both doses of the vaccination and two boosters. He also wore masks wherever he went. He took all the precautions he frequently advocated and still contracted COVID. This shows that unless you live as a hermit or get incredibly lucky, there is nothing you can do to avoid getting COVID.
This is in stark contrast to what Biden said as a candidate and during his presidency. The whole “pandemic of the unvaccinated” mantra was nothing more than political theater.
Data show that vaccination status does little to protect one from contracting the virus. Despite the incessant shaming and fearmongering by the Left, vaccinations don’t save other people’s lives, and being vaccinated doesn’t stop one from spreading it to others. Allegedly, the only benefit to being vaccinated and boosted is that it prevents people from getting severe symptoms that could threaten their lives. Granted, no one knows for sure how credible this claim is. Even at its worst, most people who contracted the virus recovered.
And while Biden’s diagnosis will do little to change the mind of the biggest mask-wearing, vaccination-receiving sycophants, it does serve as a textbook example of how political indoctrination affects the masses. For months, many repeated the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” line as if it was the absolute truth. Any statement that claimed otherwise was “disinformation.”
But as with most incidents that cause outrage, over time, the truth slowly reveals itself to discredit what was once believed to be fact.
Democrats should have been honest with people about the virus. Instead, they insisted on exploiting the issue for political gain. Sadly, that plan worked, as it was most likely the main reason Biden was elected president. People were living in a world of fear and uncertainty, and Biden stated falsehood after falsehood on the campaign trail — and the people believed him.
But in reality, it was never a pandemic of the unvaccinated despite what Biden claimed. If it were, Biden would never have tested positive. Instead, if anything, it was the pandemic of the gullible — a nationwide spread of voters believing the words of a politician like Biden, who gave the best false sense of security he could after scaring them half to death.
