If there is one lesson to be learned from the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, it is that lies that lead to rioting should no longer be tolerated. Far too often, Democrats have peddled numerous falsehoods resulting in chaos and destruction. While the trial focused on a teenager who decided to act when his government would not protect people, it started with the lie told by many Democrats that Jacob Blake was an innocent black man killed by police. As a country, we must say “no more” when it comes to these incendiary Democratic deceptions.
After the Capitol riots on Jan. 6, much was made about lies and rhetoric that incite violence. Many people were angry and outraged. Democrats expressed how scared they were. They said it was an attack on our democracy. They blamed President Donald Trump. Big Tech banned him, asserting his claims were not truthful and led to the riots. He was impeached for incitement of insurrection. They held Trump accountable and branded him a liar that motivated an insurrection. Yet, where is such accountability when Democratic lies cause rioting, violence, and murders of people like David Dorn? Where is the outrage when Democratic lies incite people to try to burn down police stations?
For the better half of a decade, Democrats have been promoting the narrative of police hunting down black men. This rhetoric has led to numerous riots, violence, assaults, and murders. The rioting in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after the shooting of Jacob Blake, which led to Rittenhouse shooting multiple people, is one such example. However, through all of this, most Democrats’ claims have been disproven after all the facts were revealed and investigations were completed. With only a few exceptions, police have been exonerated time and time again. Despite this, Democrats still advance this narrative. Their words have enabled and empowered rioting throughout the country. Yet, not one Democrat has ever been investigated or held accountable.
Even more concerning is that many Democrats continue to repeat such claims after federal investigations have proved otherwise. Consider the words of politicians such as Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Cori Bush, and even the current president who have continued to peddle lies that police murdered Michael Brown. This is just one of many examples. However, why is this allowed to go unchecked? These words have led to riots that have caused millions of dollars in damages and destroyed the businesses of many minority owners. Yet, not one person has ever faced so much as a slap on the wrist for their actions.
There is a two-tiered justice system in the country when it comes to inciting violence. Democrats and their accomplices in the media are not beholden to the same set of rules they imposed against Trump. For far too long, they have been culpable for the riots plaguing the cities without facing the consequences of their actions. This is something that has to change immediately. If lies that cause violence are criminal, they should be criminal when anyone does so — not just if they have the word “Republican” after their name. If our country is ever to heal from all the strife Democrats have caused since Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown cases, they must face punitive actions for their deceit and manipulations.
