Journalists freed in Libya

The four New York Times journalists who went missing in Libya last week have been released by the Gadhafi regime, according to the Associated Press Monday.

Reporter Anthony Shadid, videographer Stephen Farrell, and photographers Tyler Hicks and Lynsey Addario had been held for nearly a week.

A spokesman for the Turkish embassy, Rauf Denktas, said the journalists were transferred to the Turkish ambassador in Tripoli and will cross the border into Tunisia Monday, according to wire reports.
