Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is starting to pull his 2013 gubernatorial campaign together and tell us that he’s just beginning to think about a slogan.
One thing’s for sure: it won’t be “Ken for Governor.” Says the AG, “it just doesn’t rhyme. I need something for the Irishman in me, I need something that rhymes.”
In a brief interview he said that he won’t step up his campaign until after the Virginia General Assembly finishes their session, likely this weekend. “Then we’ll start to get more aggressive about communicating with folks and gathering support,” he tells Washington Secrets. A Roanoke College poll published last week had Cuccinelli up 19 percentage points over likely primary foe Lt. Gov. Bill Bollin.
