A freshman at West Virginia University was arrested Wednesday after allegedly threatening to go on a shooting spree.

Responding to a tip, police at the university arrested Cheickna Kagnassy, 21, and charged him with making terroristic threats. Police say they acted after receiving a tip from a “concerned citizen,” although the nature of the tip and who reported it has not been made public.
