A major conservative group is urging lawmakers to oppose a bill that would partially repeal and replace Obamacare, dealing a blow to GOP leadership trying to corral enough conservatives to pass the bill Thursday.
Heritage Action announced that it would key vote opposing the American Health Care Act, which means that voting for the bill would affect the score cards the group gives out on conservative issues.
Barring additional changes, the AHCA keeps the architecture of ObamaCare (Title I regs) in place. Heritage Action will be keyvoting against.

The decision by the advocacy arm of the Heritage Foundation think tank comes as some members in the conservative House Freedom Caucus have said they remain opposed to the bill, despite a litany of changes released late Monday by GOP leadership to try to entice them to vote for the bill.
The House leadership plans to vote on the bill Thursday. President Trump went to Capitol Hill Tuesday and told lawmakers that they could lose their seats if they oppose the bill.
