Steve Schmidt and the guy who played Steve Schmidt, actor Woody Harrelson, are buddies now. The “Game Change” brethren were spotted hanging out past 2 a.m. at Friday night’s First Amendment party being held at a former downtown Borders location. The duo also both attended Tammy Haddad’s White House Correspondents’ Garden Brunch the next day. “I could have slept a little more,” Harrelson said of his long night. Later, we caught the actor, who apparently dabbles in magic, doing tricks out back with an Onion newspaper-brand deck of cards.
