Four young men, including three University of Maryland students, were stabbed in a fight that began at a bar in College Park early Tuesday morning.
The fight began inside the Thirsty Turtle, on the 7400 block of Baltimore Avenue, at about 1:30 a.m., said Sgt. Michelle Reedy, a Prince George’s County police spokeswoman. The men were asked to leave and the altercation continued outside.
She said four people were cut, but their injuries are not life-threatening. Two 19-year-old students and one 20-year-old student were taken to a hospital for treatment. A 23-year-old man, who was not a student, was also taken to the hospital.
Police believe there is one male suspect, but did not have a description. No arrests have been made.
Reedy said police don’t know how the fight started.
