A D.C. woman who was struck by a bicyclist in San Francisco has died from her injuries, authorities in California said.
Sixty-eight-year-old Dionette Cherney, a real estate expert, died Thursday morning from injuries she suffered while crossing a green light the near the city’s waterfront on July 15.
The investigation revealed that the bicyclist had run a red light before crashing into Cherney, police said.
The bicyclist, a 25-year-old from San Francisco, has not been charged, but the investigation continues.
