24 Ky. museums open doors to military, families

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Active-duty military personnel and their family members can visit 24 Kentucky museums at no charge this summer.

The Blue Star Museum program has a total of 1,500 sites nationwide that offer free admission between Memorial Day and Labor Day to military families.

The Kentucky facilities include the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, the Kentucky Historical Society in Frankfort, the Kentucky Folk Art Center in Morehead and the International Bluegrass Music Museum in Owensboro.
