The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee released a fundraising email encouraging Democrats to redesign Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” hat.
Suggestions included “Make Congress Blue Again,” “Make Pelosi Speaker Again” and “Make America Progressive Again.” Supporters were encouraged to make their own slogans, filling in the blanks between “make” and “again.” The winner will be printed on hats by the DCCC.
While the GOP front-runner traverses the country telling voters he plans to “Make America Great Again,” the Democrats believe he is doing anything but. Party leaders and all three Democratic presidential primary candidates have described his rhetoric as fearmongering, hateful and xenophobic.
During a rally with Hispanic voters last week, Hillary Clinton slammed Trump, saying “I disagree with people who say ‘Make America Great Again.’ I think America is great already!”
