D.C. police have identified the man who was fatally shot Tuesday night in Northeast Washington.
The shooting happened around 6 p.m. in the 1500 block of 45th Street Northeast. When police arrived they found 21-year-old Howard Ricardo Sampler, of Southeast Washington, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Sampler was taken to a hospital where he later died, police said.
The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest in Sampler’s death. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099 or 1-888-919-CRIME.
