Hey, these guys are pretty good, too

Every so often it’s good to be reminded of this fact: There are two teams in the NBA Finals. Some days you would never realize that as the Miami Heat — and LeBron James in particular — get credit for whatever happens win or lose.

But it’s wrong to think that Miami should have swept this series. Yes, the Heat have been in position to win each game. However, Dallas could just as easily be up 3-1. And the Mavericks still haven’t shot like they did all season, their best player had a lousy game and Dwyane Wade has played out of his mind.

Yet the series is tied 2-2. Why? Because Dallas is good.

Yes, James needs to play better. But the Heat have received a great performance from Wade, an excellent one by Chris Bosh and a mostly solid one by James — look at his defense and passing — and yet they can’t put Dallas away. And that has to scare them.
